We live in NC and have family in Ashland KY that mean so much to us. We had never stayed here before, this was the first time. We are from out in the country in NC and don't need to be spoiled when we come up to visit. We just need a place to stay thats safe and accommodating so we can make a 6 hour drive for family. This motrl is not dirty. We seen no bugs and no one was mean to us. They have free breakfast the next morning and to keep from paying for something it's nice to have the options they have to feed and provide for you. Yes the train tracks are across the highway but we only heard the train or horn once and that was during the day. They have a job also and have to blow the horn to be safe. This is a nice affordable place especially when you have family in the area you'd like to see more but have a budget so you can. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely stay here again.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to get us a room and also applied our choice rewards discount. The entry is easier using the back. The front entrancce is a steep incline.

Parking was extremely tight and small with a very steep entrance. Not a great location. And no offer of an elevator. Smoking room was ok, but could use a deep clean.

The front desk clerk overcharged $511.78 on my credit card, I have contacted the hotel but the manager is always out of town. They charged my other credit card for the actual stay because that card was on file.
