If Teresita, who speaks Spanish, is not there, this office refuses in most cases to provide an interpreter. Especially at the reception, but if Civil Rights investigates, they say we have interpreter services… BUT IT IS NOT HAVING IT, IT IS USING IT. On the phone call they denied me and at the front desk too. If this continues to happen, they do not leave alternatives to people of other nationalities who do not speak English but to file a collective complaint so that this stops happening and they can have equitable and fair treatment. I hope the Administration takes action and this stops happening. Use that service for which you pay and have.

The government is open again. The February benefit must be deposited as normal. I would call to confirm with SSI.

Yes you check on the kiosk it gives you a number and they call them in order
Make sure you have birth certificates, photo ID, etc. When you move to CT if you're only using your paternal last name... you will have to keep in mind that you have to use paternal and maternal or else you'll have a ton of problems. Good luck!
Lauren is correct! Call the direct card customer service number on the back of your card. How old are you?!
Did you go to the post office and do a change of address to? I had to do that to make sure i recieve my mail. If they said 4 weeks to get your card then be sure youll get it if address is right to come in. Happy Holidays
You should have an appointment but if you walk in you take a number and wait to see someone.
My suggestion is to call and ask as it varies on how long it takes to process.
Call or go to your nearest office
Look online. Under social security.
Perhaps it was a busy, high volume day.
