I had my Gallbladder removed today, and although it can be a hit or miss with doctors and nurses, my entire team was amazing. Dr. Coletti not only got me in for the surgery in less than a week, but made sure I was comfortable and kept me laughing the entire time. He was right on schedule and the nurses and OR staff were incredibly welcoming and sweet. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

My daughter had surgery today and I have to say the nurses were incredible. They were friendly and caring and they were on top of things. Best experience I have ever had at this hospital.
Fundamentals of a Healthy Life
I have had two major surgeries at this hospital and my father was sent to Backus after a serious car accident where he broke his right femur bone completely. The staff have always been professional and kind. I run a residential and our residents go to Backus a lot and I've always had a good experience with the staff there for the most part. They are pretty good at communicating. The one piece of constructive criticism I would give is there have been residents that have gone there and the hospital has misplaced articles of clothing and belongings. That probably happens at all hospitals from time to time.

No appt necessary, 3 days for results, also can get the my health app to relieve n keep ur results with other convenient features..
Spoke with an operator, Backus Hospital does not offer rapid diagnostic testing, they only administer the PCR which can take several days.
There are many physicians. It is part of the Hartford healthcare system. There is primary care, emergency and specialty physicians.
I found a few of those apps at Google play store. Hope you find what you are looking for
Don't think they do there. In the past they gave me a list of dentists in the area to go to. Yale ER will pull a tooth if they have to
