Before I start, I understand this place isn’t known for their escape rooms, but thats what I went for. So, being a horror based building, I’d think they have a pretty damned good horror escape room, and they have one based off of 1408, the movie from the 2000s? Sick. However, when I arrived I noticed the escape room wasn’t really its own room, just a series of 8 foot walls with no ceiling, meaning you could hear everything going on outside, including other escape rooms, haunted house noises, and other guests. This really breaks the immersion of an already failed attempt at being spooky. The room itself is quite dark and dull, and you only get one flashlight (which we had to get replaced halfway through due to batteries). With all that being said - the staff and gamemaster are all very kind and personable people, so thats a plus, it just sucks that the experience was a letdown.

It's a great place for having fun and scary things to see you will enjoy it so go and enjoy it 😊

Subway escape room... We got the Big 🍎. Can't wait to try the next room. The host Brianna was great. First time and it was so much fun. #Teamwork#couplesgame

Yes, starting 1 hour before the haunted attractions are scheduled to open. We dont accept credit cards on site. We always recommend purchasing tickets in advance to save time, and guarantee entry on nights we sell out
Purchase the Scared Stiff fast pass for the best experience.
There is a mini bomb device that will explode in 5 minutes and you get 5 minutes to shut it off, or you lose.
It all depents on the line but most likely 2 hours
They have different events outside of halloween but only for certain holidays
Yes
$29 per person + tax :)
No
I had a good time. Don't do the museum part it's a waste. And I didn't get to go to the maze. It was late and rather went home. If you decide to go show up early because the line is worse than six flags. But everyone waits and has a good time unless you purchase fast pass
Yes its inside
10 yr old should be able to handle it but not a 4yr old
Yes. But only if you have a glow necklace. If you do not wear one they do not touch you.
Only if you are wearing a glow in the dark necklace which they supply. At anytime you decide to no longer participate, they tell you to remove the necklace and throw it on the floor and you will no longer be touched.
You don't need to print them out. There's a QR code that is sent to you with the receipt, just open that and they'll scan it. It's the only ticket you'll need, no need to wait in any ticket lines which can get long.
Totally depends on your ability to handle this. I can say that my wife and I are big fans. However, we took guests (13, 16 and 18 years old) and they had to exit early because it was too much for them. If you like it scary, it is great. They also have different options. No touch at all as well as CONTACT nights!!!!!!!
There are no contact options during our black out night
No, not recommended. They have a sign that specifically states that.
Thank you for all the answers everyone. Currently our limit is 6 per group.
There is no age restriction. However, due to the graphic nature, it is not recommended for small children, toddlers or babies. We also have a strict “no carrying children” policy. We have had young children go through and have a great time and adults who go through and are in tears! You’re the parent- you be the judge. A good rule of thumb is: if you wouldn’t bring your child to a PG-13 rated movie, it’s probably not a good idea to bring them to a haunted house.
Minutes.
You don't go into the place with good shoes or new set of clothes just something old
You can go with your phone but is not allow to record or take a pictures they let you know the rules
Better to buy them online to assure you get in, bring comfy shoes... you'll be in line for a good hour or so in line!
Depends on the time you get there. But anywhere from an hour to 2hours
Well I only went inside 2 haunted houses, didn't know there was a 3rd one.
Vaccine passports are not required.
Yeah they do go on they web site
Open today wat u think ofcourse 40 a person order online
"No Contact Nights" I didn't notice glow sticks and such but due to the obvious outbreak it's "No Contact" still. Tickets available onsite as well.
The haunted house section is open for special events, maybe try checking their website or social media pages for more information on that but the hatchet throwing and escape rooms are open year round with the exception of the pandemic imposed shut downs, etc.
2 haunted houses

Yes
Hi! I bought mine on and on the ticket it says Friday 1AM but it’s actually going to be Saturday 1AM for us. So for you guys if your ticket says Saturday the 26th you’ll go Sunday 1-2 AM (whatever the time is) hope this helps!! If you need to call them they can help you get a better understanding. that’s what I did
The main attraction is quite long, I remember actually making a comment stating that
I would say I haven't really seen an age limit for kids but I would say if your kids are old enough and want to come they can come but 17 and under needs to be a company by an adult to sign a waiver.
Not really but you can take a bus to Passaic then take a cab to Brighton asylum. The bus will drop you off about 5 min driving distance from the location.
About 45 min to an hour... It's really good. The line can be crazy though but your can pay more to skip the line.
they have a special event different times of the year xmas is one of them
It's an escape room.. a paid place for solving clues and having fun.. two types both medivial, Egypt and haunted house I think
I dont think you can. Plus it's pretty dark in there. You might lose it
No. Brighton Asylum is open for special events only. Our escape rooms are open.6 days per week
Hi Shawn. The haunted houses will not be open that day. Our escape rooms will, from 4pm-9:30pm
If you are under 18, you need to be accompanied by an adult.
Have to purchase fast pass if not the line is really long
Quite expensive to buy there. It was around 35 online for 3 attractions, we paid more than 40 over there.
Depending on the character. I was wearing a glow necklace which means touching is allowed. If you don't wear it, they don't touch you. One was petting my hair. Other one grapped my shoulder and one pulled & hold me up in the air for a sec and put me down again. Nothing super scary. I don't think that character will try to do it with bigger/heavier guys though haha. Oh, but you are not allowed to touch the actors.
Unless you want a Fast Pass I went early and waited in line for about an hour and a half when we got out of the Asylum the line was over a 3 hr wait. Fast Pass is 65. They let in every 10 people with fast pass and 5 people with general admission.
It has lits and lits if tight sorners. Not recommended for claustrophobic people
With tax at the ticket booth its 45 dollars with tax included for general admission to the 3 attractions
We got tickets for 9:30, we showed up 9, we got in about 10:45. Long waiting lines. I can't imagine how long the 8:30 people were waiting for cause when we went online to buy our tickets that slot was sold out! I think the later the better. We left at 12 midnight and there were still people waiting outside but the line was dramatically shorter
They dont separate. We were a group of 4 and we stayed together the whole time.
No tickets must be purchased online
They will will corner u, one creepy girl was playing with my hair. They really went after my sister, very funny, not rough or innappropriate, just creepy. But they only are allowed contact if u wear your neon band. If u dont wear band they leave u alone.
We dont recommend the haunted houses for children under 10 but you may enter at your own risk.

The walk through of the main attraction which is AWESOME!
If you go on brightonasylum.com, you can view the calander and see what event is going on and which atttactions they have. If you decided to do all of the attractions (which I HIGHLY recommend) you canneasily spend a good 2-3 hours in this place. On a regular night with one attraction, you can spend a little over an hour. At least for me I can because I'm always getting freaked out and falling all over the place. Its worst it, trust me! The haunts are amazing and if you are with the right group of people, you can go at your own pace and live it up!
Yes it was. In the 40's, it housed many violent individuals. Each building has a letter on it. Building C housed minimal risk patients. Its quite frightening when you are in line and start to think about the history and the people who used to be behind those wall. Adds even MORE of a thrill!
A ticket is a ticket, if purchased in advance you'll receive a QR code, so that can be emailed or texted to a friend and presented and scanned by them once there. Or just screenshot it and send that. The staff there is very cool and accommodating. Enjoy!
Hes right, I've seen 20 year olds crying and running out the entrance the couple times I have gone. Theres a quitter count right above the entrance.
Yup! They did an awesome event for Friday the 13th! Scared me so good!
Totally your choice. There are nights when they offer "Contact Nights" where you opt for allowing the actors to touch, grab, take you, etc. They can touch you. You can't touch back. However, it's your choice. I haven't yet done this. It's an intense and frightening experience as it is. I can only imagine contact night being great. Hope this helps.
We have not raised our prices from last season. Our 2 attraction combo is the same price. We now offer a 3 attraction combo as well, which is $7 more per ticket, which includes our newest attraction "The Bleeding Grounds". We have price points for every budget and interest
Its pretty scary and once they leave the attraction, there unable to return. I wouldnt recommend it unless you were trying to scare the living day lights out of them.
I bought the haunted asylum and the tunnel. We did the speed pass to get to the front to front. Total 108.00, but I loved it!
I was there Sat and we was there for about two hours but like Sean said, they pretty good at moving the lines
I bought mine for 9pm two of my friends bought it for 10pm. They let us go at 9pm. When they scan the tickets they dont see the time.
No idea. Go to their webpage
No but when your done they're some people outside dressed up that will take pictures with you
Yes but it is small and fills quickly. They have additional parking at the learning center near bye.
$28.96 + tax
The price varies, and they have all the details for pricing on their website, but you'll find the price can range from around $25 for their single haunt at general admission to $49 for two haunts with a fast pass. They also have lower prices for groups as well.
