Went to see him some years back for my daughter, he couldn't help because he was too busy worrying about how he got on the community care list, which he is still on it. He claims he didn't know what was community care was. He'll probably say he don't remember seeing us either, he did we were seen at the old office.

I have been seeing Dr. Barabas for over two years. He is one of the best! My husband became paralyzed after a fall and Dr. Barabas was there to help guide me through the grief, as well as, the many transitions we were both going to face going forward. Also, it did not help that Covid was just announced and we were now faced with the realization that we were going to become isolated as well. I have now completed my therapy and know Dr. Barabas will be there for me if his assistance is needed in the future. I am highly recommending Dr. Barabas! I do not know where I would have been with out his help. I hope you will give Dr. Barabas your consideration.

Unfortunately, no health insurance that I'm aware of covers the Act 235 psychological evaluation because this particular evaluation is for employment competency not health care realted. Dr. Barabas
Yes, I and my associates do see some teenagers. However, we do not treat certain problems and some child psychological disorders. No one at my practice is a child psychologist specialist. Getting an appointment with the right therapist depends on a number of variables such as, the type of problems the teen is having, do they require a expert, is the problem acute or chronic, what type of insurance coverage or network do you have, does the therapist have scheduling availability that matches yours, is there a therapist gender preference, etc. It’s best to call the office and speak to the receptionist or leave a message and someone from my office will call you back. We routinely return phone messages two or three times per week in order to gather required information and to schedule appointments. If you leave a message please be patient, some weeks we have a large number of calls to return and we try to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. Thank you for your inquiry. Dr. Barabas
Yes we see teenagers, however, you should call the office to discuss your specific situation, scheduling availability, insurance coverage, and the type of services needed. Thank you for the inquiry! Office number: 570-629-4900 Dr. Barabas
