I was seeing Jenn Allen, who told me I was allowed to attend her community classes. I attended yoga class, and there was not a problem. She even texted me to tell me to bring a reusable cup. There were a few times she texted me outside of sessions, which really confused me. She guilted me for not responding to a text while out of the country saying “I thought you forgot all about me even though I’m the one who helped you work through everything.” She then quit on me saying she had to pull back her hours (though my discharge falsely says that I chose to terminate). I signed up for her herbal class, but the store lied and told me the class was canceled. Jenn advertises her aromatics at her counseling location and had promoted her counseling services in the yoga session I attended. It can be very misleading and disappointing for a client when you learn that you are not permitted to access the other services that Jenn offers to the community, even though she has guided you to these services. I had a conversation with the owner about my concerns. He said we would have a closing session, but that never happened. He takes a very long time to respond to emails, if at all. Jenn quit on me before I met my goal and overall it was a retraumatizing experience that has not resolved.
