I've been a member of Athol Savings Bank for years and I'm glad that had decided to switch from the bank I was using and join Athol Savings Bank. I've never had a problem with them everyone who works there is professional, courteous, and helpful, they will not hesitate to help you with any of your financial needs and answer your questions. They have been around since 1867 and this bank has proven itself to be the kind of bank that is able to handle any financial situation a larger corporation bank does, but unlike a larger corporation bank they treat you as a person not just as a faceless numbers of a banking account. And just as they're logo states Athol Savings Bank is "Proud of the past, Focused on the Future," and they should be proud of they're past that became the stepping stones of the secured financial institute they are now. And based on the excellent banking service they provide you can count on with them. You know they are definitely focused on you have a good understanding of what you need for your future banking needs.

Worst bank ever! I thought I had a problem fixed, NOPE! I’m still getting fees when the told me “that won’t happen” then why did I wake up to my account being negative! Once I am able to I am closing my account!!

They constantly tell me and my husband to use the app or ATM like they don’t want to deal with customers. I didn’t drive all this way to be told I shouldn’t come in. Otherwise they have good customer service I guess.

Great way to treat a disabled and incapacitated senior in his worst years. Start deducting inactivity fees without even sending any notice! I'll be closing my account as soon as I can get transportation to Gardner. Update! So they put the funds back but they're not apologizing and bitter customer service person has de activated my debit card! UPDATE 2 As of this morning I was yet again charged an inactivity fee. I actually tried to use the Debit card to pay for prescriptions last friday and of course it was after 5pm so the bank was closed. How the hell am I supposed to be active when they bitterly shut off my debit card?
