Took my son to the ER because he suddenly started having memory lapses one night. It was pretty startling, so I didn't wait until the next to to avoid the horror of the ER. So now the frustration has begun. They waited 5 months to send me the $1100 bill (which included several hours of waiting and maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour with a doctor. talk about price gouging). I forgot to call the first month, and when I did in the second month they had already sent the bill to collections, even I called before the date on the second notice. They said to wait a couple of weeks for the bill to be brought back so I could setup a payment plan. I tried calling back multiple times, but the system just continuously loops me back through the menus and never connects to a person. I created an account online to submit a request. Maybe that will work before my credit is harmed. The staff is great, but the corporation running the hospital is garbage, like all of our for profit American healthcare.

Took my daughter there who was so weak she couldn't keep her head up. There were 18 pt's ahead of us . No beds available. She was diagnosed, treated and released within 2.5 hours. The triage nurse, Brenner, the ER paramedic, Callie and the ER physician, are. Armstrong, were all fantastic,as was any other personnel that walked by us in the hallway. (That's where we were , since, there wasn't a bed available.)Thank you for the great care.

I don’t usually go here anymore because it’s further away from my house but for now on, I’m definitely choosing this place over StoneCrest. After that hospital barely did any tests on me, I told EMS back in July to bring me here and this hospital got right into looking for what’s wrong with me. After the last hospital told me I didn’t need a CT scan, the first thing this hospital told me when I was first brought in was that they were going to admit me into the hospital so they could do a CT scan on me. That came back abnormal so they ordered an MRI of my head and then another one of my full body. After being told by StoneCrest twice that I had vertigo, this hospital discovered I had Multiple Sclerosis. They think they caught it in its early stages and began treating me for it right away to slow down the progression. After spending 6 days here, they released me and prescribed me medication. By the time I finished taking those, I was able to walk again without getting super dizzy and falling for the first time in 4 months. I hadn’t thrown up since I was first brought in, my numbness went away from a majority of my body, I was slowly able to hear in my left ear again, and I can now keep my left eye open. This hospital always treated my dad when he was alive so I knew this was a good hospital and I knew that the staff was kind. My family and I have never had a bad experience with this hospital, not even back when it was called Middle Tennessee Medical Center and located on North Highland Avenue.

St. Thomas Rutherford is THE ABSOLUTE WORST hospital in America. Billing is never correct… I’ve called 3 times to provide them discrepancies from my bill to EOB from my insurance and to let them know that my neighbor keeps getting my bill AND IT STILL HASN’T BEEN CORRECTED and this is from May. Customer service is all from overseas and you can’t understand word they say. The hospital staff are rude and provide no help.

Dear dear Stephanie.. Although your reply is correct in it's most simple form, or if it's a sinus infection. You didnt ask genius. Great you probably work there. Ii got this Ken. When you're talking about LIFE THREATENING INJURIES, they HAVE to know what's causing it before they can even treat to save a patients life. Bleeding or the cause of a life threatening injury is very important, or it can happen again, God forbid after they discharge ya.
It can be. If your saying you waited 9 hours in a room in the ER then that is really dependent upon availability of hospital beds on the floor you need to go to for your particular illness. Unfortunately that can mean either a long wait for someone they expect to be discharged or even perhaps a transfer to another hospital if they do not foresee a room becoming available for you.
I would call another hospital tell exactly what has happened and is happening and go from there praying for you guys
Virtual (telehealth) visits may be appropriate for some of your visits with your cardiologist so that you get the care you need without leaving home. When you call to schedule, ask about the right option for your care.
I delivered here june 2019 , they changed it to 3.
Ok..thanks for the quick response.
I finally got through to someone. She told me the visiting hours for regular rooms are from 7:00AM to 10:00PM.
The ACA? They must follow all federal guidelines and laws.
No, it doesn't at this time
I'm sure you could request a DNA test if that's what you want.
The current rules on delivery visitors are people in the room during delivery is that you're allowed to have the spouse and one other person or two people but it has to be the same two people you cannot switch out.as far as I know Master required and temperatures must be taken before entering the hospital.

It helps if you contact Medical Records ajead of your arrival and tell them what you need.
Don't let your heAlth depend on that hospital. Or you will be dead, just like my father
