I would call another hospital tell exactly what has happened and is happening and go from there praying for you guys
Yes it can be. The paramedics would have made an assessment on the way and given their assessment to the ER. As a parent I feel your pain and had something very similar happen. I also know as a parent our child in the number one concern. As someone who has had 19 surgeries through that hospital, many of which I entered through the ER as unplanned, I know your in good hands. I also know that ER doctors tend to be moving to fast to take time to explain sometimes. I assure you that if you push your call light, or better yet go to the nurses station, and politely asked to be told by the doctor what is going on, what are the next steps, etc, they will take the time. Wishing you thoughts and a spectacular income with a small scar your son can brag about at school the way mine does.
Yes they are always busy but waiting 2 hours on a head injury that just does not sound right the ambulance that brought him in should have told them the importance of getting him seen but they are normally really good and timely
Don’t trust them with your child’s care they let my grandma die basically encouraged it consistently disrespecting her wishes giving her medication that would rapidly speed and than slow her heart rate when she had heart problems already causing her constant physical pain, IVs in and leaving bruises and open bloody sores on her arms and swelling and that wasn’t even the worst of the treatment she received. The worst medical staff in Rutherford county don’t trust them with your child.
