This is a very very beautiful basilica. The stained glass windows are breath taking. Each one is full of so much color and life. You can spend hours contemplating how they were created almost 100 years ago and the meaning inside them.
Josh Parker
The building is beautiful for sure but the noise pollution every hour is insane. I live two blocks away and all I ever hear is the bells, not synced or harmonized, tolling away. Not very neighborly.
Martin Carrera
God is great and manifests his power in many ways and what better to be present in his house of prayer where we listen to his word. A beautiful Cathedral with a high quality infrastructure with beautiful stained glass windows that are what give it the most special highlight.

Meditations is a series of personal writings by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor from AD 161 to 180, recording his private notes to himself and ideas on Stoic philosophy. Marcus Aurelius wrote the 12 books of the Meditations in Koine Greek as a source for his own guidance and self care

Hmm, I know there's a televised mass Sunday mornings usually airing on PBS 12 around 5:30 or 6:00am. If you need communion delivered to you, that can be arranged. Reach out to the business office during business hours, you can ask to speak to a priest. One might not be immediately available, but they'll put you in touch with one very quickly. Especially if it's a sacramental emergency. Please specify if that is the case. There's also an after hours energy phone number if necessary. God bless.🙏
Tomorrow
The computer that operates the bells is being fixed. They should hopefully working before Christmas, but no promises.
When I was there, I ended up paying at one of the two lots about a block away. There appears to be free street parking, but those fill up fast.
Yes of course all Faith's are welcomed.
I believe the Cathedral is open from 6:00 a.m. to the conclusion of the last mass of the day.

It's Christmas, nobody works downtown on Christmas day.
Yes, it is a gorgeous building.
All of them as far as I'm concerned
There is no true "Spanish Mass". On the 3rd Sunday of the month, members of Mariachi Los Correcaminos de MSU (Metropolitan State University, Denver) provide the music for the 12:30 Mass, performing Catholic hymns sung in Spanish. Instruments such as guitar, violin, flute and drums are often incorporated into these beautiful live performances. At least one reading and/or responsorial psalm is offered in Spanish. The main service, however, is still in English.
I don't know. Was just visiting as a tourist. There were a lot of Latin and Central America looking people going thur the church.
Sunday masses are 0830, 1030, 1230 and 6:30p.m.
Schedule will be different during Holy Week. I'd check the website.
1030a, 1230p, 630p
I don't know check website
Only some songs in Latin in various Masses. If you want a Latin Mass, check out the 10am at Holy Ghost
I would call the office and if they don't provide those services, check out the Catholic couples counseling at St Raphael's Counseling Straphaelcounseling.com/couples

4:30 p.m. and midnight Mass on Christmas Eve And 8:30 , 10:30 and 12:30 on Christmas Day
The principle Mass is at 10:30am, arrive early to find parking and good seating. The cathedral fills fast on Christmas day. 😉
Normally there isn't, but there is a bilingual Young Adult Launch Mass with Archbishop Aquila on Sunday, October 21 at 630 p.m.
Not with the current bishop. That also is something the Catholic Church is yet to really be okay with. I have some good friends in the church but I'm not sure anyone would perform gay marriage in the church. I know the pope is moving in that direction but it is a slow crawl.
The main choir typically sings at the 10:30 Mass, although they might be off for the summer. There is usually a choir and quartet at the 6:30 pm Mass on Sunday, but it's more contemporary than what you're probably looking for. There are also free Bosetti Concerts which typically showcase sacred music. You can check the website for the schedule of those.
It is open. It is just under construction currently on the outside. You are able to still get in to see the inside of The Cathedral and Mass is still held.
Mass times are not affected. They are repairing and cleaning the facade.
The Cathedral's parking lot holds maybe 10 cars. Lots nearby run $9.00 and up. Do NOT park at McDonald's they will tow you.
Pictures are taken often. I don't know of any rules against it.
The Cathedral itself has a small parking lot with about 12 spaces on the east side of the building with an entrance on Pennsylvania Street. The Hall and Hall lot is a commercial lot on the west side of Logan Street, just north of the Fork & Spoon restaurant. Otherwise, there's street parking.
There is a Spanish music Mass at 12:30 on Sundays, but it is not entirely in Spanish. St. Joseph's church on 6th Avenue has multiple Masses completely in Spanish.
At 10:30 am
8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Stations of the Cross 12:00 noon Liturgy of the Lord's Passion 3:00pm. No Mass.
the schedules please
I believe that mass begins at 7 a.m. Saturday
Yes, with Archbishop Aquila
Usually there are confession on Saturdays, I am not sure if the confession is available this Saturday, because most parishes use this Saturday to decorate the church, ready for Christmas. You may check the Cathedral website. Blessings

You would have to speak with Mr Doug. Work's in the front office. He arrives about 8 am.
