They have a soup line every day at 11am rain or shine snow or sleet... You can always go there and eat. The food is in the alley around back.

The church is on Auraria Campus and also functions as the campus chapel. The church predated the campus, originally serving the neighborhood of Auraria before the homes were torn down in the 1970s to make room for the campus. Currently, St Elizabeth of Hungary is not its own parish, but a mission of the Cathedral (Basilica of the Immaculate Conception).
Hi Mary. St. Elizabeth has been a diocesan church since 2002. As a mission of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception,we are served by the priests assigned there.
I'm sorry- due to security/safety and limited staff we open the church when there is Mass or someone on site . We have Mass tomorrow and the church will be open at 11am.
During the week, the church doors are typically open 9am-2pm for anyone to enter for "prayer and candles." Daily mass begins at 12:15pm. The church is usually closed on Saturdays except for weddings. And always open Sundays for mass at 9am. Outside gardens (small but sweet) can be enjoyed any time. ❤😉
