DO NOT EAT HERE WITH KIDS!!! Not welcoming and treated my family like we were a hassle. We stopped here for lunch with my family while on Vacation. We were greeted at the door and immediately told to look over the menu. While looking over the menu the hostess told us they could only make Grilled Cheese and PB&J sandwiches for our kids. We told the hostess we are fine and were given a table. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress to arrive at the table. While we waited for her we listened as the waitress went to many of the surrounding tables asking “how are you”, “where are you from”, and offering information on daily specials. When the waitress finally arrived to our table we were greeted with “Do you know what you want”. The food arrived timely and was fine, not great, not bad, just fine. My children (ages: 13, 10 and 6) ordered off the main menu because they are all very well diverse with food. From my experience I would not eat here again, even if I was without my kids. Terrible wait staff, bad experience, treated like second class citizens, just bad. Oh, and I still left a 20% tip.

Just yesterday we had a great lunch at Reid’s Cafe in Linville, NC. Nice decor and gracious staff. Unusual menu items that are prepared very well. I commend the management on the simplicity, quality, staff training, and menu. Highly recommend this venue.

I had an amazing meal here June 1st! The restaurant has a very friendly, inviting atmosphere and our service was impeccable. I had the Crispy Duck Breast and it was cooked perfectly-is it too much to say the duck was so tender it almost melted in my mouth????? No! Not too much! It was that good! And that was after a delicious charcuterie board as a starter. And of course a perfect bottle of wine. Just a great evening meal. And I will definitely come back!
