Dr Lugo and his staff is awesome! I cannot express how great full I am to him. He did a cornea transplant, reshaping my pupil and putting in a lens all at once and it was great! Two years later, I accidentally bump the eye and the lens popped out and the surgery wound opens. I called the office and they got me in immediately. I needed surgery to repair the damage . The surgery was arranged immediately and was taken care of. Dr Lugo and his staff was so caring. He let me know there was hope ! He is the best surgeon in central Florida. If you’re looking for eye care, please try Dr Lugo. He puts his patient first, and he is caring and do what is best . He is definitely the surgeon to consult if you need one!

Called this office, after being referred by another doctor. The woman who answered the phone heard my concerns, and cut me off to tell me Dr. Lugo is not taking any patients with "these type of issues" as he is getting ready to leave the country. A corneal abrasion? I didn't ask for an eye transplant this afternoon. Thanks for nothing lady :)

Saw him at his Daytona location. Staff was super accommodating and kind. Dr. Lugo performed a through examination and took the time to explain what he found and a path forward. Highly recommend.
