For the past several years FHA financing for condos has been almost non-existant. Just recently, it was anounced that FHA will be changing their guidelines and criteria to make it easier for individual complexes to become approved. These changes will be taking affect as of October 15, 2019
For the purposes of lending and down payment assistance the answer is NO! For both lending and down payment assistance they look at anyone 3 years with out ownership or a displaced home maker
Yes, often times home builders have hidden incentives that can save you thousands of dollars. We pass those incentives to our home buyers.
