Nice lake to Kayak on. I don't understand some of the crazy rules, like can't touch the water, but you can have motorized boats in it. I guess politics... Anyways, good place to take an easy spin in your Kayak and a good place for beginners to practice. It is bigger than you think, so if your going to do most of the lake, prepare to be there for 3+ hours.

Such a great place to come and de-stress 🥰 The sunrise at the park over by the Massabesic circle is beautiful. And the best place that I have experienced the sunset is at the end of the Battery Point trail 🌅 The photo's are from Battery Point trail 😊

As far as Massabesic Lake you can drive a boat around you can do whatever you want you can kayak canoe but it's a reservoir so you can't go in the water. Other than that there are a million places you can sunbathe. Some of the best places are trails that you will see that look like they lead into the woods and then you'll end up on a beach where there is literally nobody.
Check the recreational bulletins at the location. I don't think you can grill.
