Dr. Mesiti was great. Excellent personality, exam and discussion/explanation of my diagnosis and options. Ordering my glasses, not so much... Glasses came in and I was notified that they failed QA check and would be sent back out to remake. A few days later I was notified that the glasses were back in and all set. Picked up the glasses and the quality/vision didn't seem right. Brought glasses back in and explained my concern. Staff were courteous and helpful; however, it was confirmed that my glasses and prescription weren't correct. Disappointed that things still aren't right, weeks later. Maybe we'll get things right the 3rd time.....

I just had a very positive experience here! Yesterday both my son and I had appointments at this location. It was so easy to just book an appointment online and they were even flexible when my son's appointment went longer than expected and I had to change my appointment time. He had never been to an eye dr before and I'd debated about bringing him to a pediatric eye dr but decided to try my regular place, they were so good with him, explaining things and making him feel comfortable. The dr was So patient with him as he had a hard time reading the charts and spoke to him in a kind way and explained things to him so he could understand (even comparing the optic nerve picture to describing it like a donut). He had so much trouble with deciding between which number was better that she took the time to dilate his eyes and extend his appointment just to make sure she could get a good idea of what was going on with him, she easily could have just rushed through it. My appointment was also very positive. The doctor asked me about concerns I'd brought up to him previously (other eye drs had brushed aside the annoyance I have with an eyelid issue but he went out of his way to find me eye lid scrubs and check in even though it was more a skin thing than a vision issue). He was very patient and thorough in the exam and everything felt comfortable. I've read mixed reviews on this location but just wanted to add my review that I just saw both of the doctors here in the Rocky Hill location and I liked them both!

Everyone is so friendly from the front desk to the exam room. Dr. Veerappan is super easy to talk to and very welcoming, walking me through the results of my exam with ease and clarity. Very happy with my visit! Thank you!

DR. MESITI WAS VERY THOROUGH, INFORMATIVE AND EASY TO TALK TO. ALANA HELPED ME GET INTO A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES QUICKLY. SHE WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I RECOMMEND THEM BOTH!!
