So the hotel itself wasn’t bad. The room itself was actually cool, the double queen suite. However, the sofa bed feels like pins and needles. My back actually hurt a little the following morning I slept on it. The bathroom is very small, especially the toilet seat. Now the beds are okay. So other than that, it’s a place to sleep for a quick night if you’re traveling. Not sure if I’ll return here.

Affordable and spacious room. Bathroom and furnitures were clean. Suits are useful as they have a kitchenette. Sheets were stained, walls are pretty thin (upstairs guests were running around till late night), cigarette smell came in from the bathroom exhaust.

Staff was friendly and we were able to get the room the night of. Parking was free, off street, and nice proximity to our room. The room was decent, wasn’t two queen beds as advertised, they were definitely only full sized. But still comfy enough, pillows were fantastic and waffles were great. Only problem with the stay was ac was broken and the bathroom really needed to be deep cleaned and updated. Walls were a bit dirty and wallpaper was peeling a lot. Staff was very friendly though.

Positives: an actual pet friendly hotel that doesn’t overcharge. Overall, our suite was clean and modern. Environment was quiet. Convenient parking. Location was central to various stores and restaurants, the Vet ER, and Cape Elizabeth. Room for improvement: before booking, we were told that our puppies could be left alone in the room. Then after check-in, staff told us that our puppies can’t be left alone. This staff person turned to the cleaning personnel and asked if he had to go into the room to clean—not sure how her inquiry related to the issue anyway. We said we didn’t need them to clean the room anyway and that we had a “do not disturb” sign up. Only then did the staff person approve us leaving the puppies in the room alone. Ability for guests to leave their pets alone should be communicated to all staff. This policy should also be noted in writing as well. Lastly, since this is a pet friendly hotel, I would’ve liked more grassy areas.
