Nikola Tesla stayed here. One star removed due to a past experience where the banquet staff were bias toward the guests who were students and that experience made me aware of customer service effort and racial bias (skin color) impacting quality

Place with history and style. Quite an experience, the only thing that is not good is the water pressure. .

Sadly the hotel remains closed and is not expected to open until 2020, which then from what is told, will be unrecognizable from its original historical glory.
I don't know if they ever did. I'm only part of the construction crew that's rebuilding it. It's closed for the next two years..
No
It is still closed to public we are currently remodeling the entire interior..
None. It is voted for renovations.
A couple of years away from completion
No it's under construction.
We stayed in January 2017. We were informed that he was sentenced by the Hillton group and bought by a Chinese corporation, which was going to make major modifications and restorations of the building; enabling apartments exclusively for apartments. The closing was calculated, it would take between 3 and 4 years. Greetings.
I guess the prices of rooms are going to really be high after this renovation? 🙉
The Waldoff is official closed till Spring of 2021. When it reopens it will have about 125 hotel rooms. The rest will be luxury apartments.
Around 100 euros per person / night.
The hotel is closed for renovation until September next year.
No
How sad that history is being destroyed. That was such a beautiful place to stay. I wanted to come to NYC and stay there, now I will just find somewhere else to go. My husband has never been to NYC other then to drive through it and I was wanting to bring him there to stay at the Waldorf and see a rockette show live and do some off the other tourist things. Oh well. I would like to say I wish the new owners the best, but I would be lying. I don’t want to see anyone hurt, but, I really don’t want to see them be successful in their endeavor. People just have no respect for history.
They are closed now but when they were open it ranged from $350 for a basic room to up to $10,000 and up for the presidential suite
3n these moments the walfor astoria of new york is closed by remodeling
25,000 a night!! That's so ridiculous!! No way . .if anyone goes for 25,000 a night to stay at this place ..well just rent a beautiful apartment. Kisses and hugs. Be all safe. Bababoom muuuuah
Late last winter. It was purchased by the Chinese conglomerate Anbang. Anbang is converting much of the property, including many of the historic suites in the Waldorf Towers to condominiums. A much smaller hotel is expected to re-open in 2020.
Stay at the Plaza, Pet friendly is only 939.00 per night nice place
