I would check with your regular physician, they can typically handle them without any issue (and will do so far more cost effectively than going to any manner of specialist). If they are unable to treat it they can refer you to the appropriate specialist. If you're in crisis, just go to ER, they can admit you to psych. You can't just show up at psych unit without referral from a doctor.

Personally I wouldn't do it. But if it is just a injection, I would look up the exact med they are injecting and see exactly what it is. What the pros and cons are. I had one injection in my spine and had a horrible migraine for 5 days. Along with the pain. Did not help. Migraine was worse than the pain I had suffered with. I had same pain with my disc. I was in severe pain for many years. FInally my bones Fused together. Pain in that area is gone. The doctors in my opinion at OSU Wexner are about the best. Other than Cleveland Clinic.

Not to my knowledge. I'm from Zanesville area and I've always heard of people being life flighted to OSU. So unless they've opened something recently then no. Good Sam and Bethesda hospitals combined to form Genesis as the local hospital if memory serves me right. If you have my chart you can message your physician and ask, but if you want to keep the same Dr you'll most likely have to make the drive if that's possible for you.

You can probably pick it up at the main entrance to the James. There is a Valet kiosk outside of the James. The main entrance to the James is left of the ER entrance.

They are very good with any problem or disease. Their care is far better than what local physicians will give you. However, if you have serious complications from psoriasis, you might consider Cleveland Clinic or Mayo Clinic. Both hospitals are excellent when it comes to unusual problems. Either way, OSU or Cleveland are well worth the drive!
