Tried calling to Inquiry info about the facility. Nobody picked up. Decided to drive 25 minutes to your location to try and maybe talk to someone today. I parked outside and waited inside my car like your sign says. Waited 10 minutes and nobody came outside. After waiting a little longer, a car pulled in beside me. In a matter of seconds someone came out to assist the other person. After assisting the other person, they decided to ignore me after I said excuse me and she headed back into the building. Wow. This was a bad first impression. I will not be back and suggest others to not come to such an unwelcoming place.

Why I hadn't known of this place before? I must have been blind. Great people, so loving. I will never go anywhere else again.

Both of my babies have been treated at the CDC for their vaccinations to being spayed. Friendly staff you can feel at ease to leave ur babies in their hands. 🐶 ❤.

I went to the Vaccine Clinic with my very sweet and friendly American Bully. The staff inside the clinic kind of treated us with a little prejudice. They made us stand in the corner and told me I had to hold his leash super short because there were smaller dogs. My bully's little sister is a yorkie, we go to the dog park, he is sweet and gets along with other dogs. They had a lady escort us around the clinic like he was vicious or something. When he went to get his vaccine they put him in a chokehold which I wasn't that fond of and I thought was kind of aggressive on their part. No one dog or human likes to be put in a chokehold. The price was way cheaper than going to a regular vet so I'd weigh your options if you have a bigger dog.

You can board them at Petsmart if you have there shot records.
Hi Doug, Thanks for your interest in our homeless dogs and cats. Please see this link of our site to see the homeless dogs in our care: https://www.columbusdogconnection.com/adoptable-pets.html Thanks for looking to a rescue or shelter to adopt your next family member. Hi Zabdy, Yes, please see our list of adoptables on our web site and send us a note about who you are interested in. https://www.columbusdogconnection.com/adoptable-pets.html Thanks,
Hi. Because of high volume of emails we receive for help with cats/kittens, please see below for guidance in helping with your cat needs. Stray Cats There is no agency that will catch/remove cats (like all counties offer for dogs). If you need help with a stray cat, most of the time, you will need to catch the cat/kitten and take him/her to a shelter. If the cat is feral, your best option is to spay/neuter the cat and re-release him/her where they were found. Please be sure to have the cat's left ear tipped so the cat community will be able to tell by looking that the cat has already been spayed/neutered. ---We offer low cost spay/neuter here at our office: www.ColumbusDogConnection.com/spayneuter-info.html ---Contact Cat Welfare for low cost spay/neuter vouchers www.catwelfareassoc.org ---SNAP program aslo has low cost spay/neuter vouchers http://snapofcentralohio.org Injured CatsColumbus Humane and Cat Welfare may assist with injured/sick cats. Hi. We didn't have a cat named Elvis. We have many others in need of a home though. Please let us know if you are interested in meeting any of them.
Hi Tracy. Thanks for reaching out. Please check out the lab rescues we list on our site. You can also find all breed rescues and there are always labs with the all breed rescues. In fact, check out Kind Hands 4 Paws on the link below as they said last week they have a black lab looking puppy. https://www.ColumbusDogConnection.com/rescuesshelters.html If you go to a breeder, be sure to ask to see both parents. Ask if they will spay/neuter the pup before adoption as that should be included in the purchase price. But I am confident you can find a lab in rescue...which means you will get a great dog and save a life !
Hi Cherese, We are not a boarding facility. You can find many boarding kennels on our site at www.ColumbusDogConnection.com
Hi. We are sorry to hear about your brother. Our vaccine clinic is the 1st Saturday only. Visit this link for more info. https://www.columbusdogconnection.com/vaccine-clinic.html Your dog must be spayed/neutered to receive vaccines. If you need financial assistance, contact Franklin County Dog Shelter. 614-525-3647 for the spay/neuter.
I don't know about Columbus dog connection, but I personally would try reaching out on social media. There's lots of groups in the area with people I'm sure would be willing to help you out!
It's easier to call them and ask. I'm not sure
https://www.columbusdogconnection.com/dogcat-info.html Check the link above for a page that has low cost medical care. Scroll down to L for low cost. SOS has a walk in clinic on Wednesdays. Discount Vet Services may be able to get you in today. The link below is to rescues/shelters. Shameka, there is no shelter anywhere that kills animals. When the community surrenders too many animals, they have no choice but to humanely euthanize. Everyone needs to spay/neuter their pets. If your dog or cat are not spayed/neutered, you are contributing to the overpopulation problem we have. There's low cost and free spay neuter so there is no excuse. https://www.columbusdogconnection.com/rescuesshelters.html
Hi. We adopt dogs and cats and like Scott said, we offer low cost spay/neuter and low cost vaccines. Please see www.ColumbusDogConnection.com for a list of our adoptable dogs.
They are $13.00 plus a $3.00 admin fee. In order to get the 3 year, you have to show proof that your dog has had the 1 year shot. Just having a rabies tag isnt enough proof.
Hi Johnna, If your dog is already neutered, please come to our low cost vaccine clinic for your chip. More details on our web site, select the low cost vaccine clinic link.
Come to www.MingleWithOurMutts.org to meet lots of homeless dogs.
Their prices are on their website. They are very reasonable
Yes they do. Watch their website for clinic days. Can't beat the prices and the people there are wonderful!
