Traveling from Ohio to Tennessee and decided to go off path and try The Abbey. Best detour we have taken. Service exceptional , Jeff was awesome helped answer questions and gave recommendations. The food is quality and well presented and taste was spot on. Best compliments to the Chef. The environment is clean and typical of a downtown eatery. Restrooms as well are clean. We dined at 12:30(lunch) I would bring children during this time. Can’t say what evening crowd would be like as there is a bar. We had the Abbey Burger with onion straws and Catfish Sandwich and potato salad. Can not go wrong. Prices are reasonable. Hope you give them a try.

Prices very good not high at all. That being said I would pay more for better food. Ruben needs a marbled rye bread not butter and saurkraut was minimal. Meat was flavorless. Fries had no seasoning except for a lot of salt. Waiter and atmosphere are amazing. If you want some reasonable priced food it's ok. But so is a fast food resturaunt. As always happy food travels.

Has always been one of my favorite places to eat. Love to location, right in the middle of town.. Very welcoming and friendly place with great service and food. So many great memories for me have been made at the Abbey.

Ordered the fried green tomatoes, steak philly sandwich with french fries, veggie black bean burger with extra fresh toppings & sweet potato fries, side salads, and a secret recipe peanut butter pie. All was tasty, hot and seasoned well. Relaxed, casual environment with decor that pleases both the bar-attendee or the family dinner night. Clean restrooms and exceptional service.
