Room is clean....ac works good . wifi is terriable. Overpriced room.. flat pillows. Nice front desk person. Small cold breakfast. Definitely not worth close to 100. Only good thing was it was pretty clean.

This is yet another review from my Kentucky Hell-trip for you all who are following along. So after my car broke down in the next town over and the Best Western wanted to charge me over $230 for one night, I was fortunate enough to get a ride to Corbin, Ky. I stopped here and got a room for just over $100. This included the pet fee of $15. In case you weren't following this misadventure, I am traveling with my dog who is an 12 lb chiweenie. The front desk representative was extremely nice and got me checked in quickly. This hotel does have smoking and non-smoking rooms. I asked for a non-smoking room. I was given a room on the 3rd floor. I feel that this was both good and bad. I think the good probably outweighed the bad in this case. The bad, no elevator, so climbing three flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase wasn't the most fun I'd had. But then again I hadn't had a whole lot of fun anyway so I guess it was par for the course in my case. The smoking and non-smoking rooms were intermingled, so even if you have a non-smoking room, you will still smell smoke. I think they should have a single floor for smoking rooms so the smell isn't permeating into the other rooms. The good thing about being on the third floor is not hearing footsteps above you. The walls are very thin here and I suspect the floors aren't much thicker as far as noise goes. My room has several nonfunctional outlets and I had to play musical plugs to find one to plug the microwave into. There are also no mini fridges (or at least not in my room). There is an ice machine in the lobby and an ice bucket, so I made a makeshift cooler with that, a trash bag, and a hand towel. It works fairly well. It holds two drink cans and a yogurt. This wasn't a bad place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again if I were in a pinch. The rooms are at least clean and comfortable.

We were in town for a tournament. 2 night stay. The room was dirty. Was supposed to be smoke free but there was cigarette burns on bed coverings. The next room was smoking dope and the smoke and smell was coming through the adjoining room doors. This will not be a choice for any future stays.

Whoever mentioned the pot smell was right on. Had to take the last room which happened to be a smoking room. The number of things broken is pretty amazing. The heater control only went down so it was set at 58. Given that the provide a flat sheet and a blanket which isn't much more than a sheet made it pretty cold. There is no sound proofing in the hotel. You can clearly hear people in the room next to you and anytime someone opens a door on your floor or one below. It's also conveniently located near the highway so the pleasant roar of Jake brakes is a Joy. Besides the heater not working, the bedside light didn't work, the sink didn't drain, the toilet seat was broken. All fairly minor annoyances but at $98 (had a $15 dog fee) not really a great deal. Also,. The window doesn't lock, opens easily and has no screen be weary if you have a young child. Pretty miserable night at the "Corbin wake and bake super 8"
