There's a class called Fundamentals of Buddhist Meditation (https://meditationinnewyork.org/learn-to-meditate/) which will give you a good foundational understanding. The next one is on Saturday Dec 8. Otherwise the Monday night, Tuesday morning, Thursday night and Sunday morning meditation classes are a great place to start!
