Positive: Everything about this hotel was great. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was very professional and friendly. Breakfast each morning includes a nice variety. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

This hotel was awesome for my family and I. Our room had plenty of space for two adults and two kids ages 11 and 5. The room was clean and beds are comfortable. Anytime I needed extra towels the person at front desk helped with anything we needed. They have an indoor pool that the kids loved. My daughter and I enjoyed the gym as well. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Tried this hotel on our way to Florida, Requested close to lobby or elevators, extra pillows and not a pet room due to allergies. My husband has difficulties walking and because of medical issues needs the additional pillows We got a room that smelled like smoke almost as far away from the front lobby or a elevator as you could put us and on the pet floor where next door a new puppy was barking and whining most of the night and the walls were thin. Having pets in the food area is very poor hygienically. I can understand this is a pet friendly hotel but what about the folks that are not traveling we a pet? We should not have to endure the joys of someone's else's pets. I have a pet and there are times I choose to travel with him and other times I do not. I'm respectful that not all travelers wants to be around pets and there needs are just as important as mine this hotel did not identify that basic need at this visit will give it another time in a few weeks before deciding to return again.

Recently stayed at this holiday inn with my family. First off let me start by saying my stay wasn’t bad. Breakfast was fine and complimentary the food could have been a lot hotter and a space to heat your cold food could’ve been nice. The pool was decent my kids loved it there was sand inside of the bottom of it but that could be explained by warmed the salt water pool and it was relaxing. The room was nice and clean. No evidence of bugs or anything like previous reviews. The washing and dryer machines were always in use so you guys could use more machines. Now I had to use the tub to bathe my small children and the tub itself needs to be scraped and re-caulked. Underneath the soap dish holder was a heavy amount of what looked like black mold on several occasions I noticed the maintenance man walking around with a spray bottle labeled mold and a scrub gun I can atleast say they are doing something about it. The pillows the mattress made the weeks long stay all worth it after adventuring eastern Carolina area I can say I enjoyed my vacation. If needed I will stay at this establishment again! I jus wish the hotel workers had done a better job at making ppl feel welcomed to stay there. Special thanks to front desk Scott he was great!
