I think it is the best online service possible with reasonable prices. I am not a sells person - I am an established photographer and use Adorama for years

Have you tried having this work done by a quality camera repair shop? I have my bodies, or lens, serviced by the best camera repair shop where I live ( the service company is one of the few authorised Leica repair facilities ouside Germany), whilst repair costs are always higher than expected! same applies to when have my car serviced. May also be worthwhile emailing manufacturer to make sure it still carries the spare parts repairer may need. Attempted to have a Canon L series glass 70-200 f4 repaired as it just wouldn't focus. Was advised the lens could not be repaired as parts were not available! The lens may have been 10 years' or so old, but we are talking about L series glass. Purchased excellent & way cheaper current generation Tamron. Superb IQ and I just don't need the cost of a 2.8 lens. Good luck with the repairs.
