Personally, they didn't help me at all.

Can someone please answer the phone? Is this what it has come down to? Families seeking help for their children and no one to provide for them? What a waste of resources, at this point I am not sure how these people justify employment. I am disgusted to see the lack of services for children with disabilities. It's like this with every agency. Shame on this state. It's obvious that there is a need. Just gross.

I called for helped a few months ago. I email them all the time but they never get back to me. Agencies always refer me to them and I don’t know why. I been begging for help to get my special needs child back in school and they definitely don’t care to help. All I can say is wow!

They are definitely the best, my family is very grateful to them because we alone would never have been able to!

I ended up removing my daughter from success academy after trying to get help to no avail. Even tried reaching trustees under SUNY's umbrella, nothing. She is a completely different child in her new school and so I am, life is better and I regret not making that decision sooner. There's a lot of psychological effects of kids in charter that's being overlooked which will have dire consequences in the long run..sadly for the kids and parents/guardians. I needed help urgently (because it got to a point where they were personally going out of their way to humiliate my daughter, even had her change to uniforms (without a conversation) on a casual wear day etc.) And help seemed like a "process" I just begged another school to take her in the middle of the school year because she wasn't going to be subjected to one more day at SA. I was going to homeschool if she wasn't accepted into any other school that I see fit.
