I lived here for 2.5 years and when we moved out they sent us our deposit back via check. However, after depositing this check into my bank, the check bounced. This cost me a bunch of fees not to mention the money was to be used for my new apartments deposit. I have reached out to them for weeks and have got limited to no response. Unfortunately this has drastically changed my opinion of management and my whole experience living in the building. This still isn’t resolved and my money hasn’t been returned.

I along with other people who know the rhinegold have only had negative experiences. Constant reports of incompetence from the management company, amenities being broken or out of service, and the building is massively understaffed. The building looks nice on the outside but i would never consider living here. Apparently the management company also provides rent incentives for positive reviews so take them with a grain of salt

I’ve been living at the Rheingold for 3 years now, basically since it opened and I’ve decided to renew my lease every year. I love my apartment and really enjoy the amenities, mgmt takes really good care of the common spaces, cleaned once or more daily by professional cleaning crews, which makes me feel okay using the spaces with COVID goin around. The leases are rent stabilized so although I was paying a bit more than average when I moved in, prices as we all know have rocketed since then, and now my apartment is currently less than what I would pay in any similar building around here like the Denizen or the one on Stanwix across the street. Overall it’s been a wonderful experience, don’t plan on leaving any time soon!

Love it here! Its such a nice community! I actually met my partner in the building :) I utilize and enjoy all of the amenities especially the sauna. Management and leasing are wonderful, some of the best I've experienced living in NYC.
