It’s a shame that Wavecrest is refusing to add more free parking space within the apartment complex after taking away the small parking lot (18 spots) near the basement entrance of building 41 few years ago. I hate the fact that Wavecrest decided to build a large parking lot, which was vacant before, near the boardwalk and force residents to move their vehicles out of the small lot so they could merge the small parking lot and merge it with the large one and lease it to Manhattan Parking Group. So if you want to park your car in the same spot, guess what, you can’t no more, since you have to pay to gain access to parking. It’s a scummy move and Wavecrest doesn’t care about their residents. They need more money by forcing residents to pay for parking and paid parking is not cheap. So you have a few choices to make when coming home late at night from work. You can sit in your car for hours until someone leaves, park where you shouldn’t or pay for a parking space.

I was shown a nice renovated home that I had trouble getting into. But I was given a fob since the phone app wasn’t working. After viewing the apartment, I applied and was approved after many phone calls. I think the leasing office drags their feet. I’ve been approved for an apartment and have yet to hear from anyone. Every time I call I get the voicemail and the one time I got through to someone, they asked for my name and told me someone would call me back. But I feel like now that they know my name their dodging me and my calls because no one has reached out and I’ve been being patient. I don’t really know what to think. I’ll give an updated review after I hear from someone Update: A leasing specialist has reached out to me and had me come in to view my apartment. It is renovated just like the viewing I saw. I saw two residents in the leasing office and asked them about their experience and they both said they had no complaints so that was great to hear. And ease my mind a bit. I’ve added a star because of this.

Having been a resident for well over 20+yrs, I can honestly say I am glad that I chose Wavecrest Gardens all those years ago... Buildings are kept as clean as possible, with some of the residents NOT being as neat as others. The maintenance crew does the best they can with what they have. The grounds are well kept and with 24hr security, it's a nice place to live..

They said no dogs are allowed, but I see tenants with their dogs. Of course people will want to bring their pets. They are very strict here. Just as long as you clean up after your dog, that's having courtesy and respect for your fellow neighbors and also for the people who are working so hard to keep this place clean. There are people here who lacks consideration and leave dog filth at times. That kills me because that's showing a lack of respect for other tenants and for the place you live in. Makes me wonder if they have dog poop all over their apartment. Cleaning up after your dog is just common morals. That's a rule that should not have to be enforced. But to some it has to because they don't have a care in the world, and don't believe in respecting or following rules.
