We've lived here 6-months so far and we love it! The front desk staff is always friendly. The few times I've ran into a maintenance issue, the team fixed it fast. Maria, the property manager, is super attentive to tenant concerns and it's clear she's focused on building a community here. Danielle, Armando and the community experience team do such an awesome job hosting events which enable neighbors to become friends. The cellar amenities (gym, game room, pool/saunas) are always clean and well-maintained. Nothing beats the full view of Brooklyn from the 27th floor rooftop and 22nd floor outdoor pool and sundeck (my favorite part of the building). We love to live here and so will you!

If you like to live in confine areas and looking at windows, and waiting to get on elevator especially during peak hrs forget it about, and like to share pools and other amenities that ppl probably renting here for and keep in mind you if you want anything private its another fee on top of a few your already paying, its not just rent there a 580 fee for just renting the roof top pool, 80 fee for amenities and fee if you want one pvt for u and your friends to enjoy and not the 480 residents apt you sharing with, valet is 350 and a sep coompany, than this is for you but if you like space land, going outside whenever you want being free … because it feels like prison in those apts just look from a window or balcony, it all depends on the mindset forget about money, because i was a 7k 3br , i like freedom pvt things and going out whenever i feel not depending on things such as elevators nothing better owning your own space

A great deal of these reviews may well have been a fair reflection of the problems during the buildings early stages, but aren't reflective of the current reality. The place isn't perfect, but I felt a 5* review more appropriate to counterweigh some of the older less appropriate reviews. Staff are excellent (the guys on the front desk are super helpful, friendly and communicative). Apartments are a generously sized, well ventilated, insulated, and easy to control temperatures in without a huge electricity bill or carbon footprint. Repairs and maintenance in units are generally actioned quickly. Appliances are great - big refrigerators and ovens. Nice deep kitchen sinks. Reasonable counter space and plentiful storage. Views are wonderful - I look North towards Manhattan, and it's breathtaking. The main reason we moved here tbh. Amenities are good, though quite a few of them are covered by a monthly fee, which is fairly usual. They do seem to be closed at short notice, not infrequently, which isn't ideal, but it's not wildly out of hand. Pleasantly surprising that the building is actually very diverse; I'd even hazard to guess it's black majority. As someone concerned about its potential for being a horrible white gentrification project, and my contributing to the problem, on balance it seems to have skirted that particular issue. The neighborhood is great - good restaurants and bars, plenty of (Afro-)Caribbean owned independent businesses, good transportation links (2/5/B/Q and quite a lot of buses), the park is 10 minutes away at most. Some complaints from tenant groups about building management being uncommunicative around difficult tenants. Unsurprising that they exist (in a 500 unit building, it's inevitable), but little action seems to be taken. Not a big issue for the most part, but not great if you're neighbouring a problem tenant. Walls and doors are not super thick, but for the most part provide sufficient sound insulation. Maybe not if you've got an obnoxious neighbour who screams at sports on the TV, but day-to-day it's fine. Elevators are a mixed bag - at peak times they can have a queue forming, but they just about manage. If one is out of service though it becomes pretty dreadful. With that said, it's only happened once in 3 months so far ... Rents are not cheap, but can usually be negotiated down to reasonable value given the good quality of the housing, and how crazy rents are everywhere. You could pay a lot more for a lot less not that much closer to Manhattan.

Horrible management; they are unresponsive and disrespectful. I consistently put in repair requests for sharp edges on my counter top and was ignored for weeks. the only response I got was "All our units are built like this". I ended up getting injured in the apartment and had to get stitches. My repair was only met once I harassed management through email about my injury. I also had an issue with management not paying me back. I was approved through ERAP for the duration of my lease (which is coming to an end); prior to my approval I paid rent for a month that was covered by ERAP. Management told me that since I was approved for ERAP, they would pay me back the extra money, but they have not. I have called and am constantly sent to voicemail and no one gives me a straight answer. I even contacted ERAP who told me that this company / management is responsible for paying me back. I am getting the run around and being told that a resolution is in the works with upper management. However, when I asked for a contact for upper management, I did not receive a response.
