Good time. Worn down a bit. Some clues can be head scratching even after solving them. Lol..

Staff was extremely nice, room options didn’t feel limited whatsoever for being in the city. My group of two was recommended a better room for two people, and it ended up being very original and fun. Definitely want to come back here again.

We have done the Jurassic escape. The decors are very well designed and immersive. The staff is very friendly and they helped you right on time. We plan to do another room during our NYC trip :)

I believe so, since you have an 18yr old with you. But likely minors would have to have the release form signed.
All of our games are kid-friendly, but they are very challenging since they're designed for adults! We recommend the games for kids 10 and up when they're with adults, and 14 years and up if they want to play without adults.
$28/person
Hi Reysa, absolutely! All of our rooms are safe to play and do not require and excessive physical force.
Hi Grace, Thank you for reaching out to Escape the Room! We will be opening with phase 4 of NYC’s re-opening plans. We hope to be open in the next few weeks!
Sure. At the most call first. I think you may just need an adult for signing the wavier.
Yes, absolutely it can.
Hi Simone, You can book a room privately only if you find a date and time with all of the tickets available and purchase the entire block of tickets for that room. If you only purchase a partial number of tickets for the room, the remaining tickets will still be available and can be purchased by another group.
Unless you are a large group, a day in advance should be fine.
You should call them. I do not see why not
I guess the prices of different rooms are same. It's $39 per person.
Each room is booked for an hour. Games do not exceed that period of time since the challenge of the game is to see if you and your team is able to escape within that 1 hour time limit. Minors may play in the rooms without adults but at least 1 adult must be present at the time of check-in to sign waivers for each participant.
Teenagers count the same as adults and the tickets are 36 per person, and each room is for about an hr. So 108 to 144 dollars.
No. You can take your phone, just can't take pics or video. When it's over, the person in charge takes a picture if you choose with props that they sent to your email. Free of charge.
Hi, Walk-ins are welcome but we always encourage our guests to reserve a spot in a room in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.
Yes, this was previously answered by the owner. They also said that the puzzles can be a bit challenging since they were designed for adults. But everything is"kid friendly"
Depends check out the website we paid somewhere around 30-40$ per person
Escape the Room very challenging and are meant to be so. I would not suggest taking teens or younger as solving the problems and figuring out the clues, including even identifying them, are likely to be beyond their capability and this would not be helpful for teamwork which is what the challenge is all about. However, they are not scary or inappropriate. Where in some of these type activities children from ages 8 to 12 are ok to participate, they must be accompanied by an adult. All participants under the age of 18 generally have to have a waiver signed by their parents. Please check out rules with the particular venue and ask which room theme they think would be most suitable.
Yes, I used Groupon and got a great deal!
Tickets are non refundable.
You need to know a decent level of English in order to solve the puzzles
