Very convenient place, but it is pretty run down. Our room had no smoke detector, the wires had been capped off. There was a nasty stain on the bed spread and what looked like mold on the wall near the air conditioner vent. If it weren't already 9:30pm we would have left. They did change our room and it was better. Even the sheets & comforters were worn out.

DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL'S WEBSITE. Do not book through this hotel's website. I used their website to book a room (or so I thought) for this evening. We showed up about an hour later to check in and were told that they were booked for tonight and that we did not have a reservation. The older man who was working from desk did come off apologetic, but condescending, as he told me that this is my fault for booking online instead of calling. He did confirm that they do offer online bookings through their website, but that it is using a booking service that they are not responsible. They have my credit card information now, I am just waiting for the charge now. Use at your own risk. Thankfully, we found a place to stay for the evening. And it does not smell like cigarettes, mildew, or broken promises. Thanks for nothing Commodores Inn.

We picked this place to stay for my sisters birthday weekend because of the amenities listed and seemed like a great deal. When we first checked in we were met with a friendly individual and check in process went well, decor was a bit outdated but nothing we couldn’t manage for the price. Unfortunately things went down from there as breakfast was not an available as advertised, pool was shut down for maintenance (saw in another review pool shut down a month ago and was STILL unavailable upon arrival), jacuzzi/hot tub unavailable as advertised, and the grille was shut down and unavailable as advertised. Room smelled clean despite carpet and furniture stains and ac was running so room was nice and cold. TV was rather small and did not offer anything worth watching. Despite no smoking signs, the hallways and eventually our room reeked of weed. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable and I felt as though I had been hit by a train the morning after. Requested extra pillows on night 2 to try to get some rest but was met with a rather curt front desk member stating “I will see what we can do”. Went out to the pond and outdoor pool to swim and kayak and 2 hours later we we still did not have the extra pillows. I went to the front desk myself and offered to bring them to the room myself to be met with, yet again, “I will see what we can do”. After some persistence and a 15min wait I finally walked away with 2 extra pillows. Overall only a few things worked, staff not being one of them.
