We moved from a house in Gainesville and stored many boxes and furniture with UF Mover Guys for a year. They only allow one company to move the belongings out of their warehouse (different story). We had issues with professionalism from the start with movers calling me in CA at 5:00 am at the wrong phone number rather than my husband in FL (after being given explicit instructions to call him, not me). Most importantly, they do not do an inventory of items (boxes/furniture) leaving your home as they go into the truck. I have never seen a professional moving company NOT inventory EVERY item going in/out of a moving van. A year later when our belongings came out of their warehouse and were moved (by a different mover) and were delivered, we were missing really important items. Vintage crystal, everyday dishware, an irreplaceable award. Items were damaged and they blamed the moving company they require to move them. No compensation offered for damages. Some were jammed into a garbage can with with no bubble wrap or paper around them (including an oil painting of our dog). We have lost FOREVER really valuable items (including the oil painting) and Brad will not even respond to an email addressing missing boxes. Make your own inventory of EVERY single box that you store with UF Mover Guys because they will not. Otherwise use another a company.
