I recently called to schedule an appointment, and I was told it will be 6 weeks, I confirmed, and they related a date six weeks away...I could not believe it. 30+ years I gave this country and this is the health care afforded to me...awful, just awful. It's no wonder the VA is considered one of, if not the worst federal agencies within the US government. They need a ZERO stars option.

Visited this facility about 3 hours ago to get medical care for my husband, He is a disabled Vietnam veteran who is recovering from a bout with pneumonia. He also has COPD and carries an oxygen tank around the clock. Furthermore, he suffers from PTSD and becomes anxious when left alone in crowds or places outside out home. In addition, he developed hearing loss while in Vietnam and requires help interpreting feedback. Therefore, I act as a caretaker for him. We had no problem being allowed me to accompany him for a prior visit, about two months ago. However, this time he was denied my assistance and we left the visit without a full understanding of the doctor's feedback to him. It makes me sad to think that this is the way we treat those who have put their lives on the line that we may enjoy the freedom we have in this great country. So, I'm hoping someone will take action to improve the kind of care that is being given to these heroes.

Staff is excellent and courteous. I would recommend this VA Clinic to other eligible veterans.
