My husband stayed here a year ago for a month. The facility is AWFUL! The staff is unresponsive and pass can't answer questions. They seem to pass it along to someone else and nobody wants to take ownership. Nurses took my husband's medication and didn't give it to him. They yelled at patients telling them they didn't have loved ones who cared. My husband was fed food he was allergic. Visitation was a joke, I couldn't reach the person to schedule a time to see my husband and I couldn't come back to his room. If you love someone don't send them here.

DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! THE FACILITY IS POOR! THE CARE IS POOR! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! YOU WOULD GET BETTER CARE LAYING IN A BOX IN AN ALLEY NEXT TO A DUMPSTER FULL OF RATS!

It's been a month since my brother passed away. He had diabetes and we thought Manor Care was the place for him but we were wrong. I do not recommend this place for anybody and I have to say this to get it of my chest. My brother was poorly supervised, poorly cleaned and because of his diabetes he could not eat, he could not use his hands or grab a fork or spoon to eat. He called me when he could, to tell me he was hungry because the food was terrible and no nurse help him, if he did not like the food he was starving till the next day at maybe 9:30 or 10:00am. When they wanted to give him medications during the night most of all there was a nurse that hit him in his feet in a way that bother him, his feet and legs were sensitive because of the diabetis. He told him several times and nothing the nurse during the night did not care. Not even water, I had to go myself and ask why they did not giving him water, he could not use his legs he was in bed 100%. There was one nurse that screemed at him and did not like him, why? why?. He was treated in a bad way, and beside these people in the nursing facility all are sick they do not feel well, they have to be treated well and compasion. He could not talk fast because he had problems to speak the language and he was a little slow, but there no excuse for that treatment. This happened on the first floor were he was, it was terrible. I tried to go as much as I could to help him to give him food, to give him water, but sadly I had to leave him there by himself. So I read the comment from Ms Claudia about his father an I agree with her 100%. I believe every word she said. I finally would like to say that there no way I could talk to the Doctor to ask her how he was, or whatever about my brother, I got tired to ask for her and they always told me, "she is not here, she left" Now after his suffering he finally left Manor Care, he finally is not there anymore.

Just look at the responses to these negative comments.... that says it all.... it says lazy and don't care.... an automated response for every single negative review not one of them personalized... so I doubt anyone ACTUALLY handled any of these Complaints.

Call the facility, ask to speak with admissions. Yes long term care medicaid is accepted. Which is different than medicaid. There would need to be an empty bed. Call for details.

Do you take medacaid
