Compared to Lifetime Fitness in Centreville.....much better here! Bathrooms always crowded in Cville and a madhouse in the evenings. Equipment breaking down constantly and alot of the lockers were damaged. So not secure. It's more of a giant public spa and you pay $$$ for it too. Reasonably priced here and much more simplified. Just what we need and that's it. Keeping it simple.

My experience with this location has been positive. I’ve been coming here for 10 months now, at least 6 days a week, every week; outside of this gym, I’ve only ever been a gym-member at LA Fitness & Blink. There are two levels of equipment, plenty of free weights, a pool, a sauna, workout classes, cycling room, stretching area, ample number functioning lockers, and protein shakes/water available for purchase (and filtered water stations throughout the place). If you’re new to fitness (first congratulations!!), be mindful of the times you go to any gym. Some hours will be more packed than others… that’s a given no matter where you go. Everybody wants to get right and tight these days. Let’s be happy about the increase of health awareness and positive body consciousness. Nonetheless, if you’re that bothered by the human race, Google has this cool-funky feature that tracks population activity in the gym by the hour. You should use it to plan your workouts (but life is so much better if you open up, ya know?). The gym is clean. There is staff constantly walking around wiping things down…constantly. Of course, there is always that one gym-goer who was obviously raised in a barn and expects someone else to come behind them and clean up, but just don’t be that person. We can all help to keep the place tidy by not treating the facility like a dumpster. The gym is a little dated, but it’s far from dilapidated. Sometimes machines are out of order, but I can honestly say that it is never for long. It shouldn’t be a shock that machines break; that’s about as groundbreaking as a dog barking. And if you have to be a little inconvenienced for a day, switch up your workout and I can promise that you’ll be oaky. The place also offers personal training. There’s this circuit thingy that looks intense (I’ve never done it, but I’ve seen people do it), and the staff is kind. I don’t think I ever met someone who was rude here. Sometimes at 5 a.m., some staff is not the perkiest, but can you blame them? I don’t even to talk to myself that early. Again, everyone is entitled to their experience, but by the reviews I think some people are conflicting this place with an Embassy Suites or Watergate Hotel stay. Just join if you want to make your fat cry (or bulk up). You won’t regret it.
