Great family experience camping. Offering a cute playground with activities for kids. Cute river runs behind campsites. Newly remodeled showers. Porta potty located conveniently for the distant sites.

Friendly, helpful, personable camp host. Clean bath house and convenient porta potty by tent sites. This beautiful creekside location is just a short distance from Catawba Falls and many other beautiful hikes (pictured is Roaring Fork Creek Falls). Can’t wait to come back when it’s warm and relax in creek. The camp store is well stocked and has firewood available for purchase. There’s laundry facilities and even a friendly cat that runs around the place. This spot was everything we needed and more. However, it’s probably not for everyone. Campsites are close together and there isn’t much coverage/ privacy. Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking to be secluded.

At one time this campground may have had a reasonable amount of spacing between campers. Not anymore! Sorry, but this looks like the family mobile homes are all among the campers. Not a place that I would like to stay

One of my favorite campgrounds I've ever stayed at! Great friendly folks running it, very helpful. Creek side sites, beautiful, and very reasonable rates. It's a small place, mostly full of full timers, or seasonals, very quiet. Catawba Falls is right up the road, very easy hike to beautiful waterfalls, and Old Fort has some cool history and sights, though I didn't get to explore it all. I definitely recommend, and hope to stay here again sometime!

This place is absolutely beautiful ♥️. They are very accommodating and friendly. This is where we are staying every time we come to visit, we are in Nebraska
They have showers but the water pressure isn't very good

We have 4 Yorkie, 1 Chihuahua, 1 boxer, 1 sheep dog and two pit bulls and 1 cat on the campground. All have lived in harmony with other animals. I know there are many other type dogs that can be considered dangerous. If I change my statement to; WE DO NOT ALLOW ANIMALS OR PEOPLE WHO ATTACK OTHER ANIMALS OR PEOPLE. Will that make you happy?
