Never take your item to this place. This is the worst place of business I went to in 20 years. Please check this man's reviews they are true. I didn't check the reviews until after I took a dvd/ vcr recorder for Repair to metro Electronic &Repair, Inc. Which was to late. The said owner told me that he would charge me $85 for the repair plus the part (s) if needed. Two days later he called me and said he couldn't fix it do I want him to keep it, I said no. I told him since he couldn't fix it what did he charge for just looking at it. This guy took $85 from me to look at it for nothing. I understand paying him a rearsonable price for checking the recorder out but not $85 for saying he couldn't fix it. After picking up the recorder the guy came out side and took pictures of my car because I told him I was reporting him to the BBB.

Sounds like cleaning the pots and switches might do it. $85 when you come in covers the hour of labor plus parts. I'll let you know what I find. Best time to drop off is between 11-12 in the morning Monday thru Friday.
If you are seeing white dots the back light or LED's in this case are working. You could have a bad TCon board or a bad screen. The board can be replaced but the screen isn't worth it if its bad.
I know he probably could just one of them things where you got to weigh out the cost of a new one opposed to hourly labor I mean even a quick fix you know from a repair man's point of views at least one hour you know it's $85 just for an assessment how much is that stereo worth?
Amps will shut down for safety reasons. It could be a symptom of shorted finals. Every piece of equipment is different and you really just have to dive into them to figure them out. I've have to reverse engineer and draw my own schematics sometimes. It's $85 when you come in and we will let you know what we find after we diagnose it. Sometimes a repair on an amp can have an additional hour of labor, your parts are extra.
Yes we do.
We can sure give it a shot. Call us.
