After being told incorrect information by someone in a box store here in town, I found Area 51 PC. These people’ know their stuff and are very reasonable with the cost of fixing a computer. Where to begin? Miles away from Miami (like myself) finding anything computer related unless its Amazon or Best Buy in Fort Myers is next to being a rodeo. But and I do mean but. This store is a hidden gem of knowledge and know how. AMD rules supreme here. Rhys and the guys rock. They saved the day. What my daughter's computer here twice to be fixed, full times they were able to take care of it. I wouldn't say they're the cheapest but remember the old expression cheap is not good and good is not cheap so if you want it done right pay the money and have it done properly the first time.

Yes, however we typically have a hold harmless agreement with these types of repair. Unfortunately, un foreseen complications can occur with full solder joint repairs. Most OEMs cold solder and include smart chips that can be damaged by DC ports with pre existing conditions. Thus, we will always be fair and honest, but with a direct soldered DC port repair, there always a risk. Give us a call we will be happy to assist.
