Micklers is the closest beach for me. Great place to find sharks teeth if you are into that. The beach itself is a popular place, and with a revamped parking lot, a lot easier to get into.

This beach is beautiful but there is more water then actual beach unfortunately. The mat leading out is quite nice. Good rinse station, bathrooms, and fog service stations. Over all very nice but no place to like volleyball or set blankets really

Always been open when we arrive, after 8am. Still open when we left just before 9pm!

Is most of the parking lot still blocked off? Love going to this beach, but last time we went over half of the parking lot was closed off for construction. Thank you in advance.

Yes 3/4of the lot is now gone to construction.

I read there is an over the dunes handicap walkway at Mickler. I went there but all I saw was a wooden walkway from the park lot with 4 steps that lead into deep sand at the end. Maybe I was in the wrong area. Where is wheelchair access to the beach?

Yes. They are planning on closing to the public Tuesday thru Thursday for a few months for a beach project

Yes they have public restrooms that have always been clean on every visit. Free parking is a plus!!

I think all our public beaches allow dogs but they must be on Leach however the sand at this beach is very coarse may be hard on the dogs paws.

Can people bring grills on the beach, and who do you call to ask

They had a lifeguard there when we were there 8/17/18, at 11.00 AM, to 12.45 pm
