My wife and I were sat at a dirty table with salsa and food all over it. They even sat the menus down in the food... My wife's backrest wasn't even connected to the seat and fell over as we sat down. Once the table was cleaned and we were resituated, we ordered. My food was bland and tasteless and my wife's food tasted like dog food. I asked, very politely if we can have both items replaced or revomed from the check. All they did was bring me the check. At the counter I spoke with the manager and explained the situation. He told me I was wrong and there has never been a complaint and his daughter ate the same thing earlier with no complaints...sure. All in all, I'd never be back to this disgusting restaurant

We've been to Monte D Rey twice now. The first time wasn't great so we gave it another go recently, months after our first visit. Second visit was no better than the first. The service is decent but the food and drinks leave much to be desired. The rice was stale both times. Our alcoholic beverages tasted so bad that we had to mix them with soda to make them drinkable. My quesadilla was filled with the tiniest sprinkle of cheese and my partner's burrito was filled with mostly lettuce.

Excellent service, excellent food! Super fast! And the best part was the very cheap cost! We loved everything! As you can see from our photo, we ordered a little bit of everything to try/taste! We were not let down by any of it!
