We stayed a week. We have an 11 year old and a 13 year old. The fishing was a blast! I would recommend using hot dogs instead of worms! Walmart is right around the corner and you can ride your bike there. The staff is super friendly and the campground is very clean. The only thing my girls said would have been better is a bigger play set.

Mostly seasonal campers here. The few lots to rent are up front and ours had what I called a sun lamp right in our bedroom window. The lot was unlevel used all the Jack's I had and still would not level up. The best thing is the folks staying here are pleasant and the campground is quiet until all the schools let out,then who knows.

I can't say enough great things about this campground. When I called to reserve, the lady on the phone was very patient and informative. When we arrived and walked in, we were greeted by the owners and immediately felt like family. They told us everything about the campground and then escorted us to our site, despite us not needing it because the sites are very clearly marked. The wifi works great to stream TV, unlike most parks where the wifi is useless. Mount Jefferson is literally right next to the campground so you have a gorgeous view. Some of the sites are a little unlevel, but we are in the mountains! The parking lot at the supermarket isn't even level. Our spot (A7) was actually very level and for newbies was no problem getting it perfect. Yes, there are a lot of permanent sites, as with many parks these days, but they are well kept and everyone is so friendly. The only bad thing about this park is they are closing on November 1st and I wish I could stay longer!

My husband and I had rebuilt an old camper and wanted to stay close to home (Boone). We found this sweet little campground online, called about reservations for memorial day weekend, and truly lucked up! The staff/owners are so sweet and a delight to talk to. They were accommodating and helpful. We ended up staying an extra night!! Between our friends site and ours, we had 8 kids who were safe the whole time. We never felt worried about them for 3.5 days! We are so happy we came across this little campground and can't wait to go back for a visit. I do wish there had been a swimming hole or pool. The kids were begging to get in water. But other than that, GREAT PLACE. GREAT EXPERIENCE. So glad we choose to camp here for our first time. See you soon Greenfield Campground!
