My veteran husband was on 3-c. He was disrespected, he had to sit and wait to be cleaned up . He has to wear diapers. I would visit him everyday. Never had water on his tray. I got it for, and bought him bottles of water. I also got water for his roommate. One day the bathroom had dirty linens with nats flying around. His food was cold when he got it, and not cut up. He has issues with his hands. I saw bugs on the hallway. I took him home. It was sad to watch. He was to have rehab. He did but he kept getting UTI's. They did not change out his catheter when needed.

This is the worst place ever to put your veteran family member they have three different memory units but the bad part is my dad made friends on 3c unit and there was one person that irritated him instead of being nurses and saying and doing what they needed to do the nurse that day created a drama situation and called all staff to the nurses station to tell us what our father done wrong instead of how they handled the situation they black balled our dad because the unit wasn’t like this before our dad came there his long term is sharp as a tack short term not what’s wrong with that picture the drama queen nurse name starts with a NDad is going to another facility this place sucks so dissatisfied

I've worked here and this is one of the worst places to work or EVER place your loved one here. Staff is leaving because of management. Management doesn't care about their staff. Nobody is happy unless you're the boss. People are afraid to come to work because the job is being hung over their head constantly. We are one of the only facilities in the area who haven't received pay grades throughout covid and they expect us to stay through this shortage. Staff is short so residents don't receive proper care. Management is all about drama and share personal information VIOLATING HIPPA. Families come in and the administrator makes it seem so good when it's not. Residents say this place feels like a prison and cry. I would never place my loved one here. Administration is a joke. I've never been disrespected by management like this in my life. STAY FAR AWAY. I give this place -5 stars.

CHVH lost 60+ residents-people to covid- 15% of their residents. No other country or entity lost 15% that I'm aware of. Like the staff. Hate the policies and the 50% non-covid vaccinated nursing/staff handling my mom in long-term care. Poorly managed through pandemic. Mandate came too late VA.
