Terrible service.

I took my son in to show documentation for a copy of his S.S. card. I had completed all the pre-app info online. The social distancing was handled decently and in order. Even with several people in front of us we were finished in less than an hour. Great professional service.

It took about an 1hour and we where done. Good job by the staff.

Hello, I lost my social security card one year ago and called social security spoke to someone that was suppose to send me information on how I was to receive a new card. Needless to say I’ve never gotten that information in the mail. Could you please tell me how I can replace my card?
The charlotte hall location no longer makes appointments. Walk in only
You can or go online
No
My brother Paul McDonald and I were in last week and spoke to Mrs. Smith about catching up on enrolling and paying for his Social Security benefits when he had never paid anything in. He is 72 and living at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He is a veteran and gets $1891 per month from the VA for Aid and Assistance which he pays to Charlotte Hall for room and board. I want to pay what he owes to Social Security and begin paying what is necessary to get into Medicare. I cannot reach you by phone but I would also like to make an appointment because I have to come from Baltimore and pick Paul up. We could be there by 11:30 AM. Please let me know if you can fit us in any day next week - Jan. 27 - 31. Thank you Ginger Suchy
I want to retire
You need a current unexpired id
9-4pm don’t wait til last minute tho or you’ll have to come back the next day
Your passport and your Green card will be fine for you to use.
Yes u can.It will take about a week or two to receive it by mail.
Most offices have a drop off box inside the SSA. Check with security officer to see once inside.
All SSA offices are taking walk in but that's something you can do online
Driver's license, or ID w/proof of address or medical card was all I needed.
Make sure you submit original documents. You can also mail an application. Make sure it is complete and you still must send in originals.
Yes I was scheduled for phone appointment. I hope this helps.
Yes! But they are not taking walk-ins right now. Don't waste time go online and find out what you need to provide (complete the application too). Make life easier for yourself.
I had the same problem, she does not return calls. It’s very frustrating.
Come in and request one
Your just go on line and see what you have to have to get it or go to the as office and they can help you
I did call but they are not scheduling appointments at this time. I was on hold for 20 minutes.
I don't lnow
No
No, you will need to contact vital records.
No but you know you can do that online and not have to deal with going in person.
My condolences to you. You can bring in her death certificate or get something from the funeral home
I'm not sure. I would call and ask or look up on line
No photocopies of anything. Bring the original
If you are getting a replacement card and are over 18, it can be done online. If this is the first time you are applying for a card, you can request one at this office with the proper documentation.
There isn't a cost to get a social security card. Yeah he has to go to get the card. But u can only get it if u have been in the state for 12 days. The wait time should 1-3 hours. Thanks
You could possibly just walk into the local office.
I'm not sure how this question ended up in my feed, but yes, you can go online & change your password.
