I had called to just see if the firm would be able to take my case. The receptionist was fairly rude. As a stressed out parent and trying to figure out the best option a little compassion in your voice goes a long way! Also do not say you will call someone back and then not. It's fine if you folks couldn't take the case or assist but call someone back rather than leave them waiting and wondering. 0/5 for customer service.

The firm is professional, thorough, and completely dedicated to their clients and their needs. Mr. Alvarez pays attention to detail and is always looking out for his client's best interest. I would highly recommend the firm without hesitation.

I have so many amazing things to say about this law firm and the people who make it the best. I will try to make it short and sweet. I contacted Zisser Family Law because I signed temporary custody over to my husband's parents when I was going through a difficult time in my life. When I got everything straight, his parents did not want to return custody to me and when I petitioned for the order to be dropped, they denied it. This has been one of the most difficult experiences I've ever had. My son did not have an easy time either. This went on for nearly 7 months from the day of signing temp. custody to the day they finally signed the motion to drop temp. custody. Jonathan has been my attorney and represented me thoughtfully and loyally through the entire process. He remained professional during a case that is very personal and emotionally stressful. He responded to me at all times when I needed help and he responded to the other side's actions promptly. He was able to forsee what would happen and filed the appropriate documents before the other side acted on something. He represented me fiercely, respectfully, and was very intelligent and talented in every move he made. He was not aggressive, but he was very focused on getting my son back with his parents and he didn't stop until they surrendered my son to me. He knows the law very well and has a direct way of solving legal battles. He has a passion for family law and is very fair in the way he resolves legal disagreements between families. He does what is best for the children and he is very fair. Whether I won or not, I would recommend anyone to retain Jonathan if they every need a lawyer for family issues. His team was wonderful and extremely helpful. Any great lawyer has a strong team. They worked quickly and diligently on anything that me or Jonathan requested. Kristy is the paralegal and she talked me through all the difficult paperwork over the phone and through emails. She is very friendly, witty, and dedicated to Zisser Law Firm. Stacey wrote and filed each important document with the court and explained everything each step of the way. They are all very to the point and they don't sugar coat anything. I knew what was going on each step of the way and felt very confident throughout the case; which is vital for a mother to feel confident about her children's lives. I highly recommend Zisser Family Law Firm and I will be eternally grateful for the services that they have provided. Thank you so much everyone!!! -Taylor

Attorney fees for legal representation and costs of actions, such as filing fees, copy costs, expert witness fees, and the like, vary from case to case. Each case presents individual challenges. During your initial consultation, your attorney will analyze the issues in your case and provide an estimate of how long your case will take and how much it will cost. Since we cannot predict all factors that may arise or level of cooperation of parties involved, this estimate can change.
Although we cannot tell you how long your case will take, we can tell you the factors that impact the duration of your case. These factors include spouse level of cooperation and the amount of time needed to obtain the necessary financial, parenting and psychological data, as well as the number of cases assigned to your judge.
Florida Law assures each party the right to counsel so that the parties are on a “level playing field.” Therefore, there can be circumstances in which your spouse may be required to pay your legal fees. The financial position of you and your spouse are reviewed, before and after property is divided, and support is assessed. Then, to the extent costs of the case have been increased by the failure of your spouse or his or her attorney to cooperate in the process, legal fees can be awarded.
Mediation is a form of dispute resolution in which a neutral third-party, most often a practicing family law attorney, although sometimes a psychologist or financial professional, assists the parties in reaching a settlement. Mediation is required before a judge can hear your case.
Even if you and your spouse agree on everything in your case, you are still considered opposing parties in a lawsuit. Therefore, it presents a conflict of interest, and a violation of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
Typically, a consultation with one of our attorneys can occur within several days of your call.
