On arrival the reception guy didn’t seem quite with it. Basically told us you’re in room 3 and that was it, muttered something about coffee. Room was large but no coffee maker, and the Wi-Fi is locked. Returned to reception to ask for a code and it was deserted other than a dog who kept walking in and out! After waiting a while I walked outside only to find him asleep in a bench, surrounded by empty bottles! I spoke loudly to get his attention and by now he didn’t seem to be in the same planet as me! He was muttering something about booking another night, I said no I want the Wi-Fi code, he took a pen and appeared to want to write the code on my phone. Got it eventually but the whole process was useless as the Wi-Fi didn’t work! The bathroom had fresh towels but a dirty bath and a number of long black hairs in the bath and sink. Fridge was dirty. The free breakfast does not exist! The views of (aptly named) Purgatory Mountain are viewed over the busy and noisy highways.

My fiance stumbled upon this place as he was traveling down Interstate 81 from Pennsylvania. We decided to give it a shot a couple of weekends ago and came back again this weekend. It has been a great experience! Not fancy by any means but the rooms are clean, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the view is beautiful! It's like stepping back into a 1950s clean, well-maintained one-story Motor Lodge. There is a pool, which is closed for the season, and a hot tub which is still open. The view of the mountains is exquisite! They are dog friendly and have two rooms that allow dogs to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Room was not inviting at all. Decor was nothing. No window valances. Very cold feeling to the room. Only 3 pillows for 2 people. No extra blankets. No one in the office. Ice, but couldn't find any vending machines. TV too small for room. Room was freezing; until we turned on heat. Took a good hour to warm the room. No coffee machine in room. No hair dryer in room. No coffee or breakfast due to covid. Feel like something should have been available. Cost 95.00 for the night. Tonight staying at Comfort suites for 105. 5 star for sure. Spend the extra 10. Includes hot breakfast. Would not recommend this Inn.

This motel had a very clean room we even moved the beds together since we had a little one sleeping in bed with us. I thought that would be discouraging after everything was so clean. Beds were great. It rained and it sounded amazing to sleep to. The only complaint was there is no curtains and a light outside of window. So if sensitive to light while sleeping keep this in mind. I would stay again.
