The things I have seen. Wow! I have been going to the Rock since I was 16 years old. A friend of mine invited me there for a youth group meeting. Since that day the Rock has been my home. This place is like no other. We are all family here and can’t wait to meet you to welcome you home. When you walk in you can just feel that this place is like no other. Theses people are like no other. I am now a 30 year old woman and am so happy that my babies get to grow up with such amazing people.

Father God {YAHWEH} led me to this church an entire decade ago. Not a day passed, in my absence, did I forgot how God strategically moved me into The Rock House/Church. This has been & still is my home, even when my life became utter chaos, God remained faithful. (my ❤️) was always with my family @ The Rock of Central Florida. I am a living testimony of The Power Of God's ability to radically change a life. I in Winter Park & praying God makes a way for me to get back to my Rock family, in Sanford. *Until then, i encourage anyone reading this, come as you are, all ages, ethnic backgrounds, nationalities or social status.*Just Come. Plz know, we don't judge u! Expect an encounter with your Heavenly Father. *This is not an "average" church, (but I am not called to be average) ✝️ if you're reading this, neither were you! 🙏💜✝️

Well ok some are upset about my review. Would you want me to lie or report what I see: Loud drums, 2 lead singers, repetitive praise songs. I said that this is not for me. The hymns have special messages and I think they are still relevant. The Bible says worship should be orderly. The truth is all the churches are conforming. With the exception of the fundementsl independent baptist. If you want to get up in front of everyone and jump around then by all means do so if that brings you closer to God. I don't think this is a negative review but descriptive of how the worship goes. If the members find this fulfilling and brings them closer to the Lord then that is good. It's just not for me. This IS the trend whether I like it or not. I speak the truth. It brings in the young people for sure and they like the rock similarly. I know from my own grandchildren. I do think it's sad that the meaningful hymns have been abandoned. I'm sorry if some have been affendef but how can I say otherwise. This church is following the trend of nearly all of Christian churches thereby contemporary worship (my definition: mindless repetitive praise songs), load drums, and lead singers. I think the preaching could have been better if he had talked less about himself and more about Jesus and the word of God. Folks were friendly. But still looking for an independent fundamental church close to where I live now.
