Very bad customer service with this company second running with almost the same issue will never again recommend them or rent from them . Misleading information and they do not compensate for any of there mistake they just try to offer a 50 dollar rental voucher only valid for 2 to 3 months smh slap in the face I am not done I will make more post if they do not give me some type of refund

Horrible service! I have been renting vehicles for years and I have used Hertz in the past. But after this experience I would never do business with them again. Customer service was atrocious after only having the vehicle for one day, one of the tires blew. I called Hertz and they told me that because I did not add on roadside service that it was my responsibility. At the time of rental that was not even offered. Only insurance was offered. My children and I were on the side of the road for hours until someone was able to help and place the spare. Once the tire was placed I reached out to Hertz once again and told me Stanford Airport would have a replacement vehicle. When I arrive at the airport Rochelle makes me aware that they are no vehicles. I was extremely upset after being on the side of the road for 4+hours with my two children. Once I got there there was no sympathy or apology. I was expressing to her how upset I was and I quote she says if you don’t step away from the counter I’m calling Security. I have been in management for years and a managers job is to defuse a bad situation. I am a firm believer that is not what is said. It’s how it said! Her delivery was atrocious. Her and her staff were unkind and rude. Will not be returning. In a day and time where we have so many options. Take business elsewhere!

They had a better deal for coverage ($9.99/day) than the collision protection I had previously ordered with my car rental, but they will tell you about it when you pick up your car.
Were you able to get your car? I am in the same situation this coming weekend and cannot get anyone on the phone to ask. I have been trying for days and the pay in advance price is so much cheaper. I don't want to arrive and am not able to get a car that is all paid for. TIA
