We stayed in the VRBO home. Very nice clean and comfortable. Great location to access all the hiking trails and vistas of Pictured Rocks. Owners are great!

Nice place, very clean. Everyone was respectful but make sure you book a site in advance! Fills up very quickly. Not too far from the beach and there is a good breakfast diner about ten minutes away. Great cell service. The only thing is I wish they had more trees and coverage, but it’s relatively new so I’m sure it will in time

Lovely, clean and like-new campground. No super-private sites, but plenty that back up to a tall, wooded treeline. Other young trees have been planted in the center sites (will fill in nicely in a few years’ time). As a side note, they have the nicest campground “pit toilets” I’ve ever come across (clean, fresh-smelling, brightly lit and, best of all, bug-free)! it’s clear the owners are hands-on and care about the customer experience. $20 for standard campsite; $40 for a small “bunk” sleeping cabin (there are 2 of these onsite). Prime location between the town of Munising and the turnoff for Chapel Rock (Pictured Rocks Lakeshore). Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. 5 stars!

Love this campground! Didn’t have reservations but was “winging it” through the upper peninsula on a week long trip. Stopped here on a weekday for Pictured Rocks. Very well-maintained campground. We sprung for the screened-in camping spot and was super happy with it. Wish there were showers but otherwise great & clean for the small bathroom that’s there. Also relatively close to everything near Pictured stocks which is awesome! Firewood being available is also a plus.
