Hours are frustrating and wrong. The last two times I’ve come with my kids we’ve been told to go outside only. No open swim inside even though I called ahead and specifically asked about open (non-lane) swim inside. If you want lane swim it’s great otherwise don’t trust the hours even if you call ahead!

Lanes are great.

There are three pools at Optimist Park. The indoor pool is open year-round. https://www.raleighnc.gov/parks/content/ParksRec/Articles/Programs/Aquatics/Pools.html Or search for: Raleigh NC aquatics
Yes. But Optimist is only open to the public for lap swimming at this time. Make lap swimming reservations through reclink.raleighnc.gov
Hi Barbara, Long course hours begin Saturday, May 26th. The main pool lap lanes will be in long course position on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Monday-Friday 5:30am-8:45am. Thank you for your interest and please visit the City of Raleigh’s webpage for the most up to date information.
Hello Martha, the dive well and wading pool open for summer on May 26th. Please see the City of Raleigh's webpage for hours and more info.
Generally, no. Especially children. It would be on a per time basis, with management approval. Dual fins for exercise are allowed, but generally mermaid tails restrict movement, are hard to get out of, and are dangerous for inexperienced individuals.
When I went there, there was none. Hope that answers your question
It is open.

It was open Jan. 2nd. They only took New Years Day off. They closed at noon the day before.
Call or go in person for exact information
And they have them year round since it is an indoor pool. And they have a program you can pick up at front desk and ask because a couple of the lifeguards teach also
Yes. They have daily, monthly, yearly, and punch cards for a certain number of visits. It also depends on resident and non resident of wake county and by age. But were talking 3 to 5 dollars per person for a one day visit. They do have fees listed, i just cant remember off hand what site is. But if you do a search for optimist pool raleigh, it will take you to the page listing hours and fees for all the different city pools.
