So they have at least 6 jon boats but they claim they are broken and has been that way for months dont waste your time also the canoes are only allowed no more then 3 people and babies/toddlers do count as a whole person smh

Hours are limited to weekends for now. I think Saturday is the same, but Sundays the latest to rent is 5pm & must be back by 6.

The cabins are two-night minimum and you have to pay half up front @135.00 per night on Reserve America. the tent camping is $25 a night and it's first come first serve as far as picking your site whatever is left when you get there

Yes there are hotels within 2 miles. Not much on cabins but they have rv , tent, and Yurt sites. Bring bikes, lots of trails.

There's a popular spot right at the end of gate B. Go to the cement boat dock and take a left, there's a sweet foot path there. You'll pass some picnic tables. Right in there is usually pretty good. If you reach the rickety, old, floating boat dock next to it, you went too far. But right in that couple of yards, is pretty good. The bridge at the end of gate B is pretty rad too. However, the bridge is becoming too people-y. If you cross the bridge and make a left and walk 50 ish yards, that little curve there (with shade) is a good spot as well

An annual pass to Georgia State Park costs $ 50.

It's only $5 if it's a car or truck. 15 passenger van has a different price and so does a bus. Unfortunately, I can't recall the amounts.

It is a State park. If Georgia parks are like here in Michigan then yes. My wife and I loved hiking in Fort Yargo when we were there.

The area where we camped was a very large area and there was a covered picnic area with about 7 tables and grill. It only cost us $85.00.

It depends on which boat you want to rent and for how long. They have paddle boats and kayaks and standup paddle boards to rent and you can rent by the half hour and by the hour. It's seasonal only, so call ahead and make sure it's available before you go.

Water has not receded. In fact, quite high and managed well. I've been going there for years and was there the other day. Water level is high.
